We are proud to be one of only a handful CompEx certified electrical contractors, in the South East CompEx electricians are qualified to work under the ATEX Directives. ATEX is an abbreviation for "ATmosphere EXplosible". The ATEX Directive applies to all electrical and mechanical equipment and protective systems which are located within potentially explosive environments. This is now The UKEX certification scheme, which replaces the ATEX certification, it was implemented on January 1st 2022. YTS Electrical Contractors holds CompEx 1-4 qualifications to work in hazardous areas, including explosive atmospheres such as fuel depots, airports, factories, and MoD sites; infact anywhere where there are dangerous substances including solvents, paints, varnishes and flammable gases. Our CompEx certified engineers are highly trained and experienced. We can inspect, test, install and provide regular and reactive maintenance schedules to ensure your facility and EX equipment is safe and compliant with DSEAR regulations.
